Keynote speaker Becky McCray is a small town business owner and cattle rancher. She shares insights from this real-world experience at her highly-ranked website, Small Biz Survival, and in her award-winning book, Small Town Rules. She delivers practical steps you can put into action right away to shape the future of your town and business.

Her programs on small business, economic development, social media and marketing have given practical ideas to audiences at over 150 events including entrepreneur conferences, business groups, small town conferences, tourism associations, economic development organizations and chambers of commerce in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

You will also hear from small towns and businesses across North Dakota on how they're making a difference in their communities by promoting their local culture, arts, foods and tourism amenities. There are also resources available from agencies such as North Dakota Tourism, North Dakota Department of Commerce, USDA Rural Development, NDSU Extension and others. Attendees will learn where to find the resources that will help them turn their ideas into actions.
